This person will be responsible for the utilization of continuous improvement tools to design, implement, and maintain supply chain solutions that positively impact Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale. <BR><BR>This position will be required to organize and work with their manager to develop a future state vision for the plants material distribution system. While leading these activities, this position serves as liaison between suppliers, service providers, supply chain, and manufacturing teams. The Senior Materials Analyst must ensure solutions optimize activities throughout the supply chain and never compromise Terex core values. <BR>Responsibilities:<BR><BR><BR>* Lead and organize targeted kaizen activities, and system improvements (Utilizing your strong knowledge of lean tools such as, JIT, Heijunka, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping, and Problem Solving).<BR>* Plan, facilitate, and lead complex improvement projects in manufacturing, administration, engineering, and distribution.<BR>* Respond to requests that are ill-defined, apply a standard approach and modify it as required, and lead a group to a successful conclusion.<BR>* Work effectively at all levels and functions of the organization.<BR>* Obtain a broad understanding of Terex processes and familiarity with operations, marketing, sales, engineering, human resource, supply chain, logistics, service, and finance functions<BR>* Ability to manage cycle count process and investigate root cause for discrepancies.<BR>* Define and improve the ECN/ECO implementation process.<BR>* Setup system to determine future part demand and setup kanban system and plan for every part (PFEP)<BR>* Conducts Supply Chain and Inventory Analysis.<BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR><BR>* Ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently.<BR>* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.<BR>* Previous management experience a plus.<BR>* Minimum two (2) years project management experience of moderate size projects.<BR>* APICS Certification a plus.<BR>* ERP (Oracle) system experience<BR>* Understanding of Multiple Level Bills of Materials<BR>* Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, VBA/SQL a plus.Proven abilities to develop and train others.<BR>* Strong ability to influence peers through engagement<BR>* Minimum three (3) years working within a lean environment.<BR>* College degree in IE, ME, Supply Chain, Business or related course of study desired<BR>Apply for this job:<BR>Your application choices are:<BR>* Apply for this jobonline<BR>* Refer a friend to this job<BR>It is the policy of the company to attract and retain the best qualified employees.
