               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Job Category:Software Engineering: Test<BR>Location:Redmond, WA, US<BR>Job ID:814391-95766<BR>Division:Interactive Entertainment Business<BR><BR>Microsoft Studios'' Games Test Organization (GTO) is looking for a test lead with the experience and passion for building large scale distributed systems with a focus on scalability, reliability, serviceability, maintainability, and stability and experience in building and managing strong teams.<BR><BR>The GTO Halo test team working with the Halo Game Services team is working on building the next generation of backend services to power Halo 4 and our new game saga. We also build services to enhance the greater Halo Universe - services for console, web, and mobile through Halo Waypoint.<BR><BR>In addition to working with the services development team, we work with all of the teams within 343 Industries, including the internal game development team, the publishing team, and the content creation and community management team. We help drive new features into the Halo Universe with all of our partner teams and we''re also involved in projects across all of IEB.<BR><BR>Our team is focused on continuous improvement, including rapid deployment, and fast iteration cycles. The ability to work in an environment with quickly changing priorities will be a key to success (agile). We ship services regularly, and though we integrate with client ship schedules, we believe that services should always be on the leading edge of enabling scenarios. This team is on the leading edge of cloud services running on Azure and utilizing multiple new technologies.<BR><BR>If you are passionate about the technical challenges of building large scale, near real-time services and you''re also passionate about helping build and leading a strong group of SDETs then this could be the job for you.<BR><BR>Position requirements:<BR>- Proven excellence in delivering high-quality web-based services (preferably in game services)<BR>- Experience in managing a services test team, with a track record of effective people, project, and team management<BR>- Deep knowledge of test methodology, technical test approaches, and/or test delivery<BR>- Experience working through full product cycles, including post-release services sustainment<BR>- Six or more years experience with C#, Java, Python or some other high-level programming language<BR>- A passion for creating quality gaming and entertainment experiences<BR>- Strong problem-solving skills, with a knack for solving difficult technical challenges<BR>- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work cross-group and cross-discipline<BR>- BS degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will also have:<BR>- Experience building large-scale services and/or client-server applications<BR>- Knowledge of game design concepts<BR>- Experience with Windows Azure or other cloud computing platforms<BR>- Familiarity with (No-SQL) big-data storage concepts<BR>- Experience in MMO development<BR>- A working knowledge of Relational databases (preferably MSSQL)<BR>- Advance degree                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        </font></td>
