Specifically, our team SESIT''s (WinSE Security Initiative Team) goals are to ensure releasing high quality security updates (we work very closely with MSRC), create reusable security tools (SESIT owns several Microsoft wide used fuzzing tools, including API/RPC fuzzers and network fuzzers), deliver trainings to rest of), and impact upstream operating systems (we work closely with the team that develops next version of Windows to share our marketplace learnings, and do proactive fuzzing to prevent security vulnerabilities upstream).<BR><BR>Today, our team has a rare opening. This is a unique chance to work on the most widely used OS in history, doing security research (code reviews, design reviews, pentesting, general fuzzing, etc.) for Windows and impacting safety of hundreds of millions of users worldwide. You will work on cutting edge technology, tools and processes. You will work with WinSE, Windows Product Group and MSRC. You will go to security conferences. You won''t own any specific components, however, you will develop expertise in whole areas of Windows. At the end of the day, you will have the satisfaction of securing today''s civilization.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR>?First and foremost, candidates must love software security. That''s all we do all day, every day.<BR>?This is Windows, and we are at the cutting edge of computer software security. Therefore candidates must have in-depth knowledge of security concepts such as threat modeling, fuzzing, mitigations<BR>?Our works requires plenty of cross group collaboration within WinSE and with product group. Therefore, candidates must have strong interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills<BR>?Finding bugs and improving processes is like a treasure hunt, which requires intimate knowledge of the area and listening to gut feeling. Therefore, candidates must be able to work independently with minimal guidance from their manager.<BR>?We have a fast paced release cycle. Therefore, candidates should be action-oriented.<BR>?We own some of the most well-known tools at MS.
