Microsoft is looking for a highly motivated business development manager to help shape partnerships that will support the future of the Microsoft Office Division.<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will bring business development, communication, and analytical capabilities and a passion for helping to grow the Office business and enhance the Office product offering through strategic partnerships and other types of deals. Previous experience in business development, negotiation, product strategy and partnership management is preferred.<BR><BR>The role demands a self-starter who excels at connecting internally to key stakeholders and influencers, managing multiple projects at once, and leading cross-team collaboration (Legal, Engineering, Marketing, Finance). Additionally, the candidate should expect to advocate for new partner opportunities, be able to articulate the Office strategy to partners, and serve as a key contact for all partner related matters.<BR><BR>Your business development expertise and responsibilities will include:<BR><BR>Negotiation<BR>- Synthesize deal concepts into Term Sheets and Contracts<BR>- Work with legal to draft agreements for partnerships and/or programs<BR>- Identify, document, and socialize optimal deal structures, financial models, and best practices<BR>- Plan and lead deal negotiations<BR><BR>Coordinate internal buy in and execution - This role will work to orchestrate engagement with business groups to ensure successful deal execution. The specific teams you will work with are as follows:<BR>- Engineering teams on specific needs/terms, prioritization of deals<BR>- Marketing & PR teams on overall deal planning & product launches<BR>- Finance as a key a provider of input to business assumptions and financial models<BR>- Business development team on deal opportunities, priorities, and deal terms<BR>- Executives to develop long-term Biz Dev strategy including: overall business group strategy, top partner priorities, risks and opportunities<BR><BR>Organizational Communication<BR>o Be effective in communicating to, and dealing at, all levels of the organization (including CVP and division President)<BR>o Enhance existing and build new, strong relationships with key Office leaders and stakeholders (PMG, R&D, Finance, LCA)<BR>o Have a point of view, have a voice, be a strategic thinker<BR><BR>Additional Requirements<BR>o Ambitious, independent, self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple, complex deals simultaneously<BR>o Excellent analytical and problem solving skills<BR>o Ability to drive results across functional areas, including program management, legal, engineering, marketing, business development<BR>o Strategic thinking, analysis skills, and the ability to achieve objectives and deliver results on multiple projects<BR>o Relevant & proven experience: 4-5 years and solid track record in business develo                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   </font></td>
