The Sales, Marketing and Services Readiness Group (SMSGR), is seeking an experienced leader for the role of Commercial Sales Readiness Sr. Director. This role offers the opportunity to work across EPG, SMS&P, WWLP groups and to drive a strong and productive partnership across the Microsoft globe. In this role the sales leader will be involved in setting strategy, planning and execution across a complex business with broad global reach. Additionally, the role creates connection opportunities with leaders in headquarters and the field, leverages the sales expertise the leader brings, and enables the sales leader to ?give back'' by building the capability of the broader sales community.<BR><BR>Field skills, knowledge and readiness are particularly critical to the success of the our Field sellers, and this position is responsible to manage business impact through developing and landing a range of complex programs from the Microsoft Sales Academy to seller launch readiness. The position will require interaction with the Senior Leadership teams in EPG, SMS&P, WWLP, WW M&O and SMSG Readiness. It offers the opportunity to drive innovation, global impact and manage our significant monetary and time investment in the skills of our people, and to work at the intersection between products, segment, and field.<BR><BR>The successful sales leader would come into the role for a 24 month period, and we would support them with a strong mentor and a sponsor. Both the sponsor and the GM will work together to ensure the next career move for the sales leader is identified and the transition effective, after the rotation is complete. With a successful rotational approach in place, we benefit from great field and sales expertise in how we design and deploy meaningful sales readiness programs and tools for our field teams - and the sales leader benefits from the experiences of a broad, global role.<BR><BR>This position reports to the GM of Worldwide SMSG Readiness and will be an active part of readiness strategy setting and operations for SMSG.<BR><BR>Opportunity<BR>?HQ (WWM&O )based global impact for hi-potential talent with deep sales, sales leadership, and sales operations experience<BR>?Accountable for global sales readiness strategy and execution end to end<BR>?M2 level team management and organizational change management experience<BR>?A regular seat at the table on extended leadership teams of SMS&P and EPG<BR>?Learning and Development experience not required<BR>?Manage a substantial spend envelope and ensure alignment with business priorities<BR>?VP sponsorship<BR>?High levels of interaction with senior field, segment, and BG leaders<BR><BR>Primary Responsibilities<BR>?Align readiness strategy to key EPG, SMS&P, and WWLP business priorities<BR>?Build global, multi-year readiness </font></td>
