In the US this includes retailers such as Best Buy, WalMart, Target and Amazon and Operators such as T-Mobile. Products sold include Xbox (consoles, Kinect, games, accessories, LIVE), PC Hardware (mice, keyboards, webcams), Office, Mac Office, Windows and Windows Phones. The US Retail/OC Finance team provides high quality financial data, value-added analysis and informed decision support for this approx. $4b business (annual revenue). This is an exciting, dynamic and fun team where business partnering is key and the ability to relate underlying business dynamics to financial data is essential. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong financial compliance, business partnering and analysis skills to manage key finance processes and ROB, generate consolidated Retail reporting, and manage our controls and policies environment. Key activities include:<BR><BR>- Drive high quality execution in the core processes of Financial Planning & Analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting, Monthly P&L Close, Statutory Accounting, Controls & Compliance and Sarbanes Oxley. These core processes are fundamental platforms that support the rhythms of the business and financial controls across the subsidiary.<BR>- Develop and provide financial and operational reporting and analysis, including scorecards and performance metrics; lead beyond the numbers by providing insightful business analysis<BR>- Headcount Tracking & forecasting - monitoring and control against WW and locally set objectives whilst also accurately forecasting future headcount ramp, associated costs and adherence to WW blueprints.<BR>- FOM ownership/compliance.<BR>- Develop financial forecast models for proposed short term and long term resource allocation, including the provision of meaningful recommendations based on objective analysis<BR>- Identify and drive large scale analytical projects to evaluate and optimize revenue and profit opportunities across the subsidiary for improved profitability and growth.<BR>- Provide input into and/or implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance to Microsoft and GAAP/applicable statutory accounting polices/practices<BR>- Initial set-up, and ongoing maintenance and ownership of centralized repository for all finance data/information requirements<BR><BR>This role requires Leadership, Executive Maturity, Market Analysis and Business Skills, Cross Functional and Cross MSFT Collaboration, and Communication.<BR><BR>Candidates must be self-starters with a passion for driving results, and a proven track record for coordinating cross-boundary initiatives and processes to achieve goals.
