This person will be responsible for pre-sales technical support and post-sales engineering functions for customers that are utilizing our Storage and Data Management Services.<BR><BR><BR><BR>The successful candidate will have experience in configuration and use of various storage technologies. Such experience will include partnering with the customer and determining the business requirements that a storage solution will be required to meet. Such requirements will include sizing, performance, operational reliability, and properly fitting into the architectural roadmap of the customers overall technical environment.<BR>Requirements: <BR>The same experience and functions will be required in software that provides backup, recovery, and management of storage data, software.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Specific technologies targeted for the position include:<BR><BR>       EMC<BR><BR>       HP Storage Products<BR><BR>       Hitachi Data Systems<BR><BR>       Comm Vault Simpana<BR><BR>       Veritas Backup Offerings<BR><BR>HP Data Protector<BR><BR><BR><BR>As a Storage Engineer you will plan and manage the installation, configuration and tuning of SAN and storage hardware and software including replication and DR appliances according to best practices, while ensuring high levels of data quality and availability for all enterprise and internal customers in an mission critical 24 x7 Enterprise Storage systems environment including but not limited to HP, EMC, and Hitachi SAN Storage devices in a Windows and VMWare environments.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Duties will also include: &#8232;&#8232;<BR><BR><BR>* Maintain technical relationships and evaluate market technologies associated with SAN vendors so that as product enhancements are made or new products become available an understanding can be obtained to determine how they could be beneficially applied to customer environments.<BR><BR>* Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent storage provisioning, uptime, regulatory compliance and data protection. &#8232;<BR><BR>* Responsible for delivery of storage services according to statements of work from the Project Manager. &#8232;<BR><BR>* Work closely with customer operations, project management, application development, network security and database administrators to develop scalable, maintainable, consistent, highly available storage architectures that meet business objectives and set relevant service-level agreements leading to improvements to the existing production storage environment. &#8232;<BR><BR>* Provide capacity planning, performance analysis, develop data disaster recovery plans, lead efforts towards storage consolidation, identify storage growth, manage configuration of storage media and storage management software. &#8232;<BR><BR>* Design redundant systems and policies for disaster recovery and archiving to ensure the effective protection and integrity of storage                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          </font></td>
