Highly developed presentation skills, self-motivated and a proactive team player, excellent written and oral communication, and proficient with MS Office software.<BR>Specific Job Description This position will support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Area (WSA) by providing Safety Risk Management (SRM) support for the Western Service Center (WSC), Quality Control Group (QCG). The primary duty will be facilitating SRM panels; collateral duties may include supporting requests from Air Traffic Organization (AT) offices within the Western Service Area (WSA) to conduct or Assess the requirements for SRM procedures, coordinate with adjacent service areas, perform Point of Contact (POC) duties for SRM projects, provide initial SRM assessment and guidance for assigned projects within the service area, provide coordination to establish project description and panel members, support the development of a SRM Decision Memorandum, evaluate alternatives and an assessment of risks, and provide SRM services for a wide range of National Airspace System (NAS) implementation programs and projects. Position requries approximately 40% travel.<BR>Standard Job Description Prepares and coordinates the plans and schedules for new or existing programs. Determines, monitors, and reviews costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. Supports and participates in negotiations with customer. Analyzes effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Resolves proposal preparation problems and assesses the progress against established plans and parameters. Formulates and recommends corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements.<BR>Security Clearance Public Trust<BR>Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
