A global leader in technology integration and solutions is seeking Information Technology Security Analysts to analyze and define security requirements for multi-level security systems. The IT Security Specialist/Analyst may lead and participate in the performance of security risk assessments, system threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, and penetration analyses of facilities, Automated Information Systems and networks. The Security Specialist/Analyst serves as security representative within a project team to; ensure that all security requirements are fulfilled, review the architecture, and assist the team with the creation of Security Package, MOUs, ISAs. These positions will serve customers through the United States. Job Duties: * Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. * Research, develops, coordinates, and maintains end user and technical security policies, standards, and procedures. * Interfaces with user community to understand their security needs and implements procedures to accommodates them. * Specifies technical security requirements for new application developments; coordinates with systems developers and engineers to configure, test, and deploy implemented system security solutions * Ensures that user community understands and adheres to necessary procedures to maintain security. * Examines and reports on policy and standard compliance for computing platforms, operating systems, and networks. * Conducts accurate evaluation of the level of security required and provides management with status reports. Hours / Days / Schedule: Day shift: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., M-F Job Requirements: Your resume must reflect the following qualifications to receive a referral: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study * Five years experience ias an IT Security Analyst * Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IT industry trends and emerging technologies * Ability to relate trends and emerging technologies to the company/client and its objectives * Employer conducts pre-employment drug screening, criminal background, credit and reference checks. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience participating in security support projects involving the security disciplines of Operation Security Signal Security, Communications Security and Automated Information Systems * Knowledge of network firewall design principals, network protocols, and information security principles * Person with existing BI * Department of Defense Active Security Clearance * Professional certificates in the area of expertise Salary / Wage / Benefits: $25.00- $50.00/hr, DOE/DOQ+ benefits (Medical, dental, and vision insurance; tuition reimbursement; child care assistance; paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave) Closing Date / Deadline: Open until filled TO APPLY: To apply for this position, please copy and paste the website address below into your internet address bar and click "Go".
