               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Manager Accounting Systems Entities<BR>Location: Washington-Renton<BR>Job Number:_20300<BR>Providence is calling a Manager Accounting Systems Entities to Providence Health & Services in LOCATION.<BR>The Manager, Accounting - Health System Support Services is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the accounting services for system support services entities, including accounting for all the administrative functions which reside at the health system office and for the health system pension, professional liability, and worker?s compensation trusts.  <BR><BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Develop, staff, and manage an accounting services center. Develop and implement service center systems, policies and procedures related to general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, cash and financial reporting, consistent with Health System practices and policies and which support regional and Health System strategies and objectives.<BR>* Maintain quarterly and annual professional liability and worker?s compensation trust schedules for distribution and communication with the regions.<BR>* Develop and implement standard general ledger accounting procedures for assigned entities, consistent with Health System policies and objectives. Ensure that proper accounting controls and procedures are maintained and that System policies are followed. Lead community benefit reporting for regions located within Washington and Montana.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR><BR><?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Equivalent of a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting.<BR>* Minimum of five years of progressively more-responsible financial management with at least three years in a financial manager role providing accounting services to multiple entities. <BR>Preferredqualifications for this position include:<BR>* Current CPA licensure<BR>* Healthcare experience<BR><BR><BR>MINISTRY INFO<BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
