               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Manager, Epic Data Management Interface (CC)<BR>Location: Washington-Renton<BR>Job Number:_16549<BR>Providence is calling a Manager, Epic Data Management Interface to Providence Health & Services in Renton (Seattle), WA or Portland, OR.<BR>The Manager, Epic Data Management Interface is responsible for regional accountabilities for data management functions related to Epic with a focus in integrating external provisioned sites. These include data governance responsibilities; development, integrity and management of interfaces and data conversion; and data access and reporting. The incumbent is a seasoned data/application management professional with deep experience in the data management concepts and techniques and managing distributed, virtual teams.<BR><BR>Travel could be up to 50% in the position. <BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Ensuring that system-wide data management strategy and standards are carried out at the Regional level.<BR>* Directs a team of report developers to ensure business needs for data access and analysis is met<BR>* Directs a team of interface analysts to ensure Epic data is exchanged appropriately in the environment and that relevant external data is incorporate appropriately into Epic<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Bachelors degree in business, information systems, or related field plus 10 years experience in a similar role in a comparable or larger institution OR 15 years of experience in increasingly responsible, large, complex project management roles in comparable or larger institutions<BR>* 5 years of management experience, with accountability for planning, operations, financial management, and people management and development<BR>* Employees are expected to attain official EPIC certification for the relevant application or technologies essential to their position within 3 months of completing their initial training.<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Masters degree<BR>* Experience in a healthcare organization<BR><BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
