               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Manager of Compliance, Safety & Risk<BR>Location: Washington-Renton<BR>Job Number:_18262<BR>Providence is calling a Manager of Compliance, Safety & Risk to Providence Senior and Community Services (PSCS) in Renton, WA.<BR>The Manager of Compliance, Safety & Risk is responsible for leading work to assure regulatory compliance and to standardize systems and processes with the goal of supporting the home health and hospice service lines to achieve 90th percentile ranking in safety, survey and clinical outcomes. This position leads work to improve patient safety, prevent avoidable patient injuries/deaths and to mitigate risk to the organization. In collaboration with the VP of Compliance, Safety & Risk Management, the Manager of Compliance, Safety & Risk is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring safety, compliance and risk programs for the home health and hospice service lines of PSCS. The position is accountable for the plan to assure services provided are in accordance with Washington State, national and Providence Health and Services regulations and mandates. A key element of the position is leading efforts for survey preparedness in collaboration with local ministry leadership and Quality with a goal of constant readiness.  <BR><BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Lead regulatory compliance and survey preparedness efforts in collaboration with local leadership and under the direction of the VP of Compliance, Safety & Risk Management.<BR>* Research and review new rules and regulations on a routine basis, summarizing and communicating to key stakeholders.<BR>* Orient and train new staff regarding compliance, safety and risk policies and processes using standardized communication methods.<BR>* Provide risk management services utilzizing the resources of Providence corporate risk management resources.<BR>* Develop, implement and oversee ongoing safety, risk management and mitigation and compliance training for the service lines of home health and hospice.<BR>* Develop and implement standardized methods to collect and report required patient safety related data such as infections, falls, and skin breakdown.<BR>* Collaborate with local leadership to provide oversight for Infection Control program to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree in healthcare, healthcare administration or quality management or other degree if accompanied by position-related certificaitions<BR>* Experience in regulatory compliance, risk management, quality improvement or home health/ hospice management<BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Certification with Operational Excellence as a Change Facilitator or Green Belt.
