<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Portfolio Analyst<BR>Location: Washington-Renton<BR>Job Number:_19513<BR>Providence is calling a Sr. Portfolio Analyst to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.<BR><BR>We are seeking a Portfolio Analyst who will be responsible to provide analytical decision support for the Providence Health and Services application portfolio by monitoring the financial health of system investments throughout the lifecycle of the application. The portfolio analyst must provide visibility into the current inventory of applications related to the resources required for implementation and maintenance of the applications. The analyst must quantify the value the application investment brings to the organization which will ultimately allow IT leadership to focus scarce IT resources onto business priorities. The phases of the application lifecycle to be monitored are: Intake, Implementation, Operational Support and End of Life. The analyst will evaluate financial impacts and benefits when new applications are considered as well as identify areas to reduce costs with redundant functionality. <BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR><BR>* Interact with staff, supervisors, managers and directors both inside and outside of the Information Services Organization<BR>* Work very closely with finance to provide input in development of department budget and is responsible for the monitoring, analysis, and reconciliation of the same<BR>* Identify and propose opportunities to eliminate partially or wholly redundant systems<BR>* Quantify the condition of the applications in terms of stability, quality and sustainability<BR>* Quantify the business value/ROI of each application to the business<BR>* Identify resource needs according to the application?s condition in the context of business priorities<BR>* <BR>Provide training to members of IT related to portfolio processes, systems, and structures<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Requiredqualifications for this position include:<BR>* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field<BR>* <BR>In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies; thorough knowledge of business functions and operations, objectives and strategies.<BR>* <BR>In-depth knowledge of project planning methodologies, tools, and IT standards and guidelines; knowledge of management concepts, practices and techniques.<BR><BR>Preferredqualifications for this position include:<BR>* MBA<BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
