               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Program Analyst/PlannerTracking Code9840-237Job Description<BR>This position will support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Western Service Center (WSC) Planning and Requirements Group. The candidate will provide support in management and evaluation for Needs Assessment Program (NAP) entries from FAA Technical Operations Districts. The preferred candidate will have extensive practical knowledge of one or more major National Airspace System (NAS) systems involving Communication, Navigational Aids, Radar, Automation, Weather or Power Supply. Responsibilities will include validation of NAP entries submitted and completeness of the submittals by the field per the Service Unit?s Program guidelines. The candidate will be responsible for the prioritization and management of requirements during phases of Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Close-out. Routine duties will also require the ability to foster the open exchange of technical ideas and information in order to develop solutions to resolve complex issues that involve input from multidisciplinary subject matter experts and facilitate organizational consensus.<BR>?Required Skills<BR>The candidate must have FAA experience as an Engineer or Technician with Air Traffic Control systems.<BR>Prior Staff Specialist experience in a FAA Air Traffic Control Facility, Regional Office, or Headquarters staff is desired.
