               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Senior Accountant<BR>Location: Washington-Renton<BR>Job Number:_18818<BR>Providence is calling a Sr. Accountant to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.<BR><BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* Support monthly consolidation of system financial statements, including performing the monthly analytical review of financial statements and statistics for accuracy and reasonableness, preparing and processing close journal entries, reviewing automatic eliminations, performing manual eliminations, and providing administrative support to regions for financial reporting application. Generate timely and complete financial reports for Executive Management. <BR>* Maintain Hyperion Enterprise and Lawson, including but not limited to, addition of accounting units and GL accounts ensuring that they are made timely and accurately; maintaining all chart of accounts; taking Hyperion Enterprise extracts as scheduled. Additionally, serve as the Hyperion Enterprise support contact.<BR>* Support the administrative and analytical functions related to the budget and long-range plan process and application.<BR>* Manage internal & external data requests, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of financial reporting. Functions as the Lawson and Hyperion Enterprise query and reporting specialist to support all data requests. <BR>* Perform key roles in execution of the annual audit process.<BR>* Facilitate accurate and timely collection and reporting of financial and statistical information from the regional entities to complete internal and external survey and special reports.<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Requiredqualifications for this position include:<BR>* The equivalent of a Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration<BR>* 5 or more years of progressively more responsible accounting experience in a not-for-profit environment and preferably involving healthcare accounting<BR>* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with healthcare accounting software<BR>* Ability to communicate complex financial information to diverse audiences<BR><BR><BR>Preferredqualifications for this position include:<BR>* Current CPA certification<BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
