               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Title: Supervisor, Accounting Services<BR>Location: Washington-Renton<BR>Job Number:_11868<BR>Providence is calling a Supervisor, Accounting Services to Providence Health & Services in Renton, WA.<BR><BR>The Supervisor, Accounting Services is responsible for supervising certain functional areas to ensure deadlines are met and ensuring that new policies and/or standardizations are implemented in a timely and efficient manner. This position is also responsible for the retention, training, assessment and direction of staff. Primary areas of responsibility include general ledger, fixed assets and financial reporting.<BR><BR>In this position you will:<BR>* <BR>Develop and oversee the daily work of a regional accounting services center staff <BR>* <BR>Develop and implement regional systems, policies and procedures related to general accounting, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, cash and financial reporting<BR>* <BR>Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, ensure timely reconciliations to source/subsidiary systems and maintain financial controls for assigned areas<BR>* <BR>Develop and implement standard general ledger accounting procedures and ensure that proper accounting controls and procedures are maintained<BR>* <BR>Collaborate with the on-site Finance staff in collection of labor hours and statistics required for monthly management report, establishing new departments and accounts, responding to inquiries from local administration and department managers regarding financial matters and in the preparation of special reports<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR>Required qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Bachelor?s degree in Accounting<BR>* Minimum of five years of progressively more-responsible financial management and operations experience<BR>* Three years experience in the supervision of staff or acting in a lead capacity<BR><BR>Preferred qualifications for this position include:<BR>* Experience in healthcare setting<BR>* Current CPA licensure<BR><BR>About the department you will serve.<BR>Providence Strategic and Management Services provides a variety of functional and system support services for all eight regions of Providence Health & Services from Alaska to California.
