<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Critical Infrastructure Protection Cyber & SCADA Scientist<BR>Organization and Job ID<BR>Job ID: 301886<BR>Directorate:<BR><BR>National Security <BR>Division:<BR><BR>National Security Technology and Policy<BR>Group:<BR><BR>Cyber Technology and Analysis<BR>Job Description<BR>The Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is currently working with our partners in the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense and Homeland Security and is on the front lines of conducting cyber and hardware related research and development, providing tools to protect our countrys critical infrastructures from cyber-attacks.<BR><BR>PNNL efforts span the gambit from fundamental to applied research and encompass many different scientific disciplines.<BR>PNNL is seeking a scientist/engineer to lead scientific, business development, and programmatic leadership for emerging topical science and technology areas within our component and control systems portfolio. The goal of this portfolio is to extend PNNL''s capability to provide unique and novel scientific and technology solutions to meet emerging needs in the national security landscape. <BR>The incumbent will have a lead role in working with our other senior scientists, research leaders and management in developing strategies for advancing research within the National Security Directorate.<BR><BR>This includes science and technology strategy development, business/proposal development, delivery of products and services, and interaction with key clients. Successful candidates would also be responsible for assisting with the transition of these technologies to national security client capabilities. <BR>Requirements: <BR>A BS with 9+ years of experience, a MS with 7+ years of experience or a PhD with 5+ years of experience in Computer Science or another closely related engineering discipline is required. <BR>Additionally, a successful candidate will demonstrate experiences in the following areas:<BR>- Providing high quality tools, technology, and analysis products to the federal government. <BR>- Reduction of fundamental and/or applied science from development to deployment.<BR>- Scientific and technology strategy development and execution.<BR>- Providing technical leadership for software/hardware research and development. <BR>- Developing expert systems and artificial intelligence applications. <BR>- Object modeling and creating object oriented applications. <BR>- Computer hardware design, maintenance and diagnostics. <BR>- Computer and system-level programming experience. <BR>- Knowledge of complex infrastructure control system environments, including bridging operations to physical end point architectures and devices. <BR>- Component level logic design and analysis expertise.<BR>Equal Employment Opportunity<BR>Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) is an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer and supports diversity in the workplace.<BR><BR>All employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital or family status, sexual orienta </font></td>
