Please plan accordingly when you apply. </b> <BR><BR>DIRECT SERVICE SPECIALIST/PART-TIME/12 to 34 hours per week, (Y)<BR><BR><b>JOB DESCRIPTION</b><BR>A  local company that provides direct service for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities is seeking a Direct Services Specialist. The Specialist will engage clients through vocational training, community activities, recreational and learning activities. This position will also transport clients to and from activities.<BR><BR><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS:</b><BR>All qualifications and experience appearing in the job description and below are mandatory, AND MUST BE REFLECTED IN YOUR RESUME/APPLICATION TO BE CONSIDERED FOR REFERRAL.<BR><BR>*High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent<BR><BR>*21 years old, due to insurance purposes.<BR><BR>*Ability to pass a background check and driving record.<BR><BR>*Valid drivers license, to transport clients to and from activities.  Must have a clean driving record for the past 3 years.<BR><BR>*5+ years driving experience.<BR><BR>*Ability of lift up to 50lbs.<BR><BR><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</b><BR>N/A<BR><BR><b>HOURS/DAYS/SCHEDULE:</b><BR>Monday through Friday/hours vary, mostly days and some evenings possible.<BR><BR><b>SALARY/WAGE/BENEFITS:</b><BR>$9.04/hr/no benefits.<BR><BR><b>CLOSING DATE/DEADLINE:</b><BR>The recruitment period will remain active until filled, expired or at the direction of the employer.<BR><BR><b>HOW TO APPLY/REQUEST A REFERRAL:</b><BR>Contact your nearest WorkSource Office in person with this job order number for referral instructions.
