Degree in Math, Science, Engineering or equivalent technical degree and 2 years of related experience in the following areas, but not limited to:<BR>? Working in the functional area of nuclear safety (hazards analysis, accident analysis, and control selection)<BR>? Supporting the identification and analysis of nuclear and chemical hazards analyses for DOE Hazard Category 2 and 3 nuclear facilities<BR>? Developing nuclear hazards analysis reports and other technical reports<BR>? Experience supporting Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies<BR>? In lieu of related experience, Master''s degree in Math, Science, Engineering or equivalent technical degree.<BR>Minimum Qualifications<BR><BR>? Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check.<BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR>? Process Hazard Analysis Leader Training and Certification<BR>? Proficient in the knowledge and application of DOE-STD-3009-94, Preparation Guide for U.S. Department of Energy Non-Reactor Nuclear Facility Documented Safety Analyses, DOE O 420.1B, Facility Safety, and related DOE Policies, Orders, Standards, and Guides.<BR>? Experience supporting the identification and analysis of nuclear and chemical hazards analyses for DOE Hazard Category 2 and 3 nuclear facilities<BR>? A high-level of knowledge of all relevant DOE Policies, Orders, Standards, and Guides that pertain to nuclear safety in general and hazards analysis in particular.<BR>? Experienced in the development, review, and approval processes associated with technical documents and reports.<BR>? Proficient in use of Microsoft office products (i.e., Word, Powerpoint, Excel)<BR>? High level of organizational ability; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<BR>? Possess the legal right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship.<BR><BR><BR>Job Description: URS is seeking a Hazard Analyst to be based in our Richland, WA location.<BR><BR>This position will be supporting the identification, analysis, and documentation of nuclear and chemical hazards associated with the facilities of the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant (WTP).
