The United States'' growing emphasis in national security disciplines is creating outstanding career opportunities in fields that include:<BR>-Arms Control and Treaty Verification <BR>-Cyber Security <BR>-Global Security <BR>-Homeland Security <BR>-Critical Infrastructure Protection and Analysis <BR>-Nuclear Stockpile Safeguards and Security <BR>-Nuclear Technologies <BR>-International Border Protection <BR>The Computational and Statistical Analytics Division at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory focuses on advancing computational and statistical foundations to deliver algorithms, information and scientific data management, visualization and analytics, data intensive information systems, distributed data processing pipelines and environments, and secure computing infrastructure to enable next-generation heterogeneous computing for scientific discovery, situational awareness, decision support, and predictive modeling.<BR>PNNL is seeking students who have completed a masters degree program from an accredited college or university.<BR><BR>The prospective candidate''s degree should be focused in disciplines described above. Up to 30 students will be selected to participate in NSIP annually.<BR><BR>Women and minorities are encouraged to apply for NSIP assignments.
