Progressive experience should be in the following areas, but not limited to:<BR><BR>? Working in the functional area of nuclear safety (hazards analysis, accident analysis, control selection, or unreviewed safety question evaluations)<BR>? Developing and maintaining the content of Documented Safety Analysis and Technical Safety Requirements<BR>? Developing technical reports<BR>? Must be proficient in use of Microsoft office products (i.e., Word, Powerpoint, Excel)<BR><BR><BR>Minimum Qualifications<BR><BR>? Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check.<BR><BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR><BR>? Proficient in the knowledge and application of DOE-STD-3009-94, Preparation Guide for U.S. Department of Energy Non-Reactor Nuclear Facility Documented Safety Analyses, DOE O 420.1B, Facility Safety, and related DOE Policies, Orders, Standards, and Guides.<BR>? A high-level of knowledge of all relevant DOE Policies, Orders, Standards, and Guides that pertain to nuclear safety.<BR>? Experienced in the development, review, and approval processes associated with technical documents and reports.<BR>? Current or recent (within last 3 years) qualifications on an Unreviewed Safety Question process<BR>?  High level of organizational ability; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<BR>? Possess the legal right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship.<BR><BR>Job Description: URS is seeking a Sr. Documtented Safety Analysis Engineer at the Richland, WA location.<BR><BR>This position will be responsible for writing and documenting portions of a DOE-STD-3009-94-compliant Documented Safety Analysis for the facilities of the Hanford Waste Treatment Plant (WTP).
