Must have 9 years of progressive experience in the following areas, but not limited to:<BR>? Developing accident analyses and/or technical reports<BR>working in the functional area of nuclear safety (hazards analysis, accident analysis, and control selection)<BR>? Developing and maintaining the content of Documented Safety Analysis and Technical Safety Requirements<BR>? Commercial nuclear experience in areas directly relevant to this position will be considered in lieu of direct DOE experience<BR><BR>Minimum Qualifications<BR><BR>? Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical (if located at the construction site), and background check.<BR><BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR><BR>? Proficient in the knowledge and application of DOE-STD-3009-94, Preparation Guide for U.S. Department of Energy Non-Reactor Nuclear Facility Documented Safety Analyses, DOE O 420.1B, Facility Safety, and related DOE Policies, Orders, Standards, and Guides.<BR>? A high-level of knowledge of all relevant DOE Policies, Orders, Standards, and Guides that pertain to nuclear safety.<BR>? Current or recent (within last 3 years) qualifications on an Unreviewed Safety Question process<BR>? Proficient in use of Microsoft office products (i.e., Word, Powerpoint, Excel)<BR>? Prior experience with DOE ToolBox code applications.<BR>? Prior experience with the application of software quality assurance procedures to safety-related software.<BR>? High level of organizational ability; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.<BR>? Possess the legal right to work and remain in the US without sponsorship.<BR><BR><BR>Job Description: URS Corporation is seeking a Sr Nuclear Safety Engineer to be based in our Richland, Washington location.<BR><BR>This position will be responsible for providing the full range of nuclear safety support to the WTP project.
