               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Armstrong World Industries has two terrific career opportunities for experienced Electricians at our ceiling tile manufacturing facility.  Electricians will effectively maintain electrical equipment, process control systems and mechanical equipment/processes in a way that contributes to the continuous improvement of the St Helens, OR plant manufacturing processes and overall performance.      <BR> <BR>About the Company:<BR> Established in 1860, Armstrong World Industries, Inc. is a multi-billion dollar global leader in the design and manufacture of floors, ceilings, and cabinets with a focus on innovation, design, and environmental sustainability. Based in Lancaster PA, Armstrong serves both the residential and commercial markets operating plants and distribution centers in eight countries with over 9,000 employees worldwide.<BR> <BR>Primary Responsibilities:<BR>•   Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems including installing conduit and wirings, motors, instrumentation, recording devices, starters and temporary wiring setups.<BR>•   Diagnose and correct electrical malfunctions so as to maintain equipment in a state of operating effectiveness.<BR>•   Maintain and repair plant instrumentation.<BR>•   Develop wiring diagrams as necessary.<BR>•   Repair, maintain, test and calibrate instrumentation an equipment of various types including flow meters, thermocouples, HMI, laboratory control instruments, loop controllers, PLC and process control and related networks, page phones, radios, chart recorder, servo motors and systems and various other forms of electrical/electronic equipment.<BR>•   Complete records and inventory of supplies necessary for performance of jobs.<BR>•   Perform preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance on electrical devices and other equipment. <BR>•   Maintain personal work tools.<BR>•   Participate on Lean Manufacturing teams as opportunities arise.<BR>•   Perform other duties as required to maintain or improve plant reliability. <BR>•   Conduct daily safety risk assessments on routine and non-routine job tasks.<BR><BR>Requirements:<BR>•   Job opening #1 - Preferred: General Supervisor License (not required)<BR>•   Job opening #2 - Supervisor License NOT required<BR>•   Possess High School Diploma or GED equivalency<BR>•   Three years plant electrician experience <BR>•   Working knowledge of computer software applications; Word, Excel, etc. <BR>•   PLC, AC & DC drives and instrumentation experience <BR>•   Applicants must possess an Electrical Journeyman's license or ability to attain within 6 months<BR>•   Record of consistent work history<BR>•   Problem-solving skills experience<BR>•   Ability to work well in a team environment<BR>•   Ability to pass basic comprehension assessments<BR>•   Perform repetitive tasks for up to 30 minutes at a time<BR>•   Move up to 50 lbs repetitively<BR>•   Accurately use basic measuring devices<BR>•   Follow written guidelines and procedures with accuracy<BR>•   Ability to work up to 12 days straight in a row<BR>•   Ability to work up to 13 hours in a rolling 24 hour period<BR>•   Candidates must be willing to work overtime and rotating shifts: day, evening and weekend shifts to support the production process that operates on a continuous cycle.<BR>•   Ability to effectively communicate in a one-on-one or small group situations; includes ability to clearly listen and respond to internal and external customers<BR>•   Read, write and perform basic math skills<BR>•   Participate on project teams and/or safety committees<BR> <BR>Our facility is a tobacco, drug and alcohol free environment.
