This individual will be responsible for overseeing the general ledger (GL), Cash, Restricted and Inter affiliate accounting activities of Harborview. This position has accountability for the accurate and timely reporting of GL activity to both internal and external users.  This individual is also responsible for staff supervision and professional development as well as providing a generally positive work environment for employees.  <BR><BR>General Responsibilities:<BR><BR>* Timely approval of monthly journal entries and reconciliations.<BR><BR>* Preparation of and quality control for monthly financial statements.<BR><BR>* Point of contact for external financial and state audits.<BR><BR>* Coordinates the monthly variance analysis process including timely, critical review of explanations and presenting summary-level analysis as requested by the Accounting Manager, Director of Financial Planning & Operations, CFO or various departments.<BR><BR>* Ensures cross training for staff occurs in areas of responsibility to peers.<BR><BR>* Ensures financial policies are kept current and accurate.<BR><BR>* Ensures appropriate supporting documentation for all journal entries is maintaine                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         </font></td>
