               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Job Description: Maintain equipment in a safe and proper operating condition.  Under close supervision repairs, calibrates, and maintains all types of basic medical equipment technologies, devices, instruments and systems. Inspect, install and provide preventative maintenance to general medical equipment. Ensure the Maintenance program meets JCAHO, local, state, and federal compliance requirements.<BR>Requirements: <BR>Required Education/Experience:<BR>- AA degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, or equivalent training in Biomedical Equipment Maintenance in a recognized training institution, such as military service schools, or comparable civilian programs.<BR>- Six (6) months experience working as an intern Biomed trainee within a healthcare/ medical equipment environment.<BR>Required Credentials:<BR>- N/A<BR>Preferred: <BR>- Certification by ICC/AAMI (International Certification Commission for Clinical Engineering & Biomedical Technology/Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation).</font></td>
