This individual will work with closely with Apub''s Business Analytics, Marketing, and Merchandising teams to understand and implement pricing strategies for Amazon Publishing titles around the world. This individual will act as a subject matter expert on both internal (APub titles and strategies) and external (competitor data, market trends, etc.) pricing concerns. This individual will be hands-on with multiple internal systems, and will be comfortable communicating information and metrics to those at all levels of the company.<BR><BR>Duties and Responsibilities:<BR><BR>* Work closely with several Amazon Publishing teams to execute Amazon Publishing''s pricing strategies within multiple internal systems.<BR><BR>* Serve as an internal expert and act as a POC on all pricing questions and issues.<BR><BR>* Plan and execute pricing promotions across multiple territories and formats.<BR>* Identify trends and opportunities for incremental pricing and promotional improvements.<BR><BR>* Audit pricing for Amazon Publishing titles to ensure constant accuracy.<BR>* Assist Business Analytics team with ad hoc research and reports as needed.<BR><BR>Basic Qualifications<BR><BR>* 4+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, Business Analyst or Systems Analyst preferably in a large, internet-based company.<BR>* Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Information Systems or any related field from an accredited institution.<BR>* Advanced SQL writing skills and experience with ETL.<BR>* Proven analytical and quantitative skills (includes the ability to effectively use tools such as Excel and Access) and an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop business cases, and complete root cause analyses.<BR>* Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects while still delivering timely and accurate results.<BR>* Strong verbal and written communications skills along with the ability to work cross-functionally across Amazon.<BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR><BR>* MBA or similar advanced degree.<BR><BR>* Solid project management skills.<BR>* An ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired and ambiguity is the norm.<BR>* Experience mentoring others in SQL and the use of large data sets<BR>* Familiarity and comfort with Statistics. </font></td>
