In this role, you will support Safeco Auto profit, growth and operational objectives. You will coordinate and maintain the process for the semi-annual auto rate indications release to management and perform analysis to support auto business goals. This position requires strong analytical skills and solid communication skills.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>* Gain knowledge about Personal Auto pricing and data, and use this knowledge in analyses and projects<BR>* Provide support to actuaries and others by performing analysis within Safeco Auto Pricing<BR>* Be involved in the development of high quality rate indications for specific states<BR>* Lead the pricing team to ensure deadlines are met and coordinate results for the semi-annual rate indication process<BR>* Provide analysis of the semi-annual rate indications and work with the team and the Auto Product Analytics team to reconcile differences<BR>* Assist in the release and presentation of the semi-annual rate indications to management<BR>* Interact with and provide technical assistance and information to peers, managers, and others within and outside of the organization<BR>* Maintain clear and concise documentation of methods and analysis <BR>Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelor's Degree in an analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business or Finance<BR>* 3 years of analytical experience<BR>* Actuarial background a plus<BR>* Proven analytical, problem solving, and research skills<BR>* MS Office proficiency, with solid Excel skills<BR>* Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment as well as independently<BR><BR><BR><BR>Benefits:<BR><BR>We recognize that talented people are attracted to companies that provide competitive pay, comprehensive benefits packages and outstanding advancement opportunities.
