Our client is located in downtown Seattle. This position is open for 9 months with possible extension.<BR><BR>Responsibilities of this position will include providing business analysis support for our Electronic Lab Notebook rollout. Specific duties will include partnering with members of the Research organization and current ELN team members to help analyze scientific needs and support the application (e.g. BioBook spreadsheet development and support, training coordination, end user support, and application testing). <BR><BR>The Business Systems Analyst will work on a cross-functional project team to help test, implement and support our client''s Electronic Lab Notebook system (IDBS E-WorkBook).<BR><BR>Additional Information<BR><BR>Location: Seattle, WA<BR><BR><BR>Job ID: 04410-144469<BR><BR><BR>Experience: Basic Qualifications <BR>- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Life Sciences, or Engineering <BR>- 3+ years of experience in software development, business analysis. <BR>- 3+ years of experience in data interfaces, data conversion, network and infrastructure fundamentals, object-oriented analysis and design, and operating systems. <BR>- Experience in relational database fundamentals, software development life cycle, and software quality methodology. <BR><BR>Preferred Qualifications <BR>- 3+ years of experience in Bio-Pharmaceutical industry focusing on software development, business analysis, and project management. <BR>- Background and experience in drug discovery and development <BR>- Experience with IDBS E-WorkBook and BioBook <BR>- High learning agility, innovation, and problem solving skills. <BR>- Strong written and oral communication skills <BR>- Ability to communicate effectively with scientific clients. <BR>- Excellent client and vendor management skills. <BR>- Project management skills, including project planning and scheduling. <BR>- Experience in implementing software systems in laboratory environments.<BR>- A strong understanding of the underlying science.<BR><BR><BR>Unit: Robert Half Technology </font></td>
