The person in this role:<BR><BR><BR>* Analyzes each rhythm strip for heart rate, measures designated intervals (PR, QRS, QT), and reports abnormalities to the nursing staff.<BR><BR>* Maintains monitoring equipment by replacing recording paper, keeping inventory of transmitters, and reporting any damage found on the transmitters or their leads wires.<BR><BR>* Troubleshoots technical/equipment problems and reports them to their charge nurse or RN3 or Biomedical Equipment Technician.<BR><BR>* Accurately documents patient billing information for telemetry by entering into REG/ADT system.<BR><BR>* Completely performs indirect patient care tasks according to their level of training, and in accordance with unit standards.<BR><BR>* Participates in orientation of new staff. <BR><BR>* Maintains an environment that respects the socio-economic, ethno cultural & lifestyle diversity of patients and staff.<BR><BR>As an employee you will enjoy generous benefits and work/life programs.
