CIIP certification desired but not required. College degree required, preferably in Information Systems. Must be able to think independently and deal with multiple systems and customers. Needs ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Radiology and PACS applications. This position provides day to day support and installation support for applications being used/installed in a hospital environment. The person needs to have the ability to work in a team environment and strong leadership capabilities.<BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR>? Coordinate with Radiology and PACS user liaisons to assess departmental needs and objectives.<BR>? Review changes and upcoming developments in software applications.<BR>? Communicate software problems and issues to software development and support teams.<BR>? Create documentation for supported systems and enhancements.<BR>? Design, tests and modify complex systems, modules and/or approaches and required enhancements.<BR>? Performs complex coding, reviewing, preparing test data, testing and debugging and implementation of<BR>system building.<BR>? Performs complex analysis and troubleshooting for various Cardiology clinical applications.<BR>? Assist in Project Management for system enhancements and implementations.<BR><BR>Position Requirements<BR>? Experience with GE PACS is required.<BR>? Bachelors degree required, preferred concentration in computer science, information systems, or direct working experience equivalent.<BR>? Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills.<BR>? Highly self motivated and directed.<BR>?
