               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Conduct laboratory animal care, with the focus associated with animal health support duties according to standards set forth by the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals (the Guide).  Help maintain full accreditation status with the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC).  Oversee animal (rodent) import and export transfers between other institutions and Seattle Children's Research Institute (SCRI), including the operation of the SCRI quarantine area.  Participate in post approval monitoring and provide training to staff and coordinate Research needs.<BR>Requirements: <BR>Required Education/Experience:<BR>-  High School graduate or equivalent<BR>-  Minimum of two (2) years as an Animal Technician in a laboratory research setting, to include:<BR>   - Experience in rodent colony production techniques and maintenance<BR>   - Experience in standard operating procedures, design and implementation<BR>Required Credentials:<BR>-  A current, certified Veterinary Technician license in the State of Washington.<BR>Preferred:<BR>-  Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a medical, biological, or related field<BR>-  Graduation from a two-year veterinary technician program<BR>-  American Assn. of Laboratory Animal Science ALAT, LAT or LATG Certifications.<BR><BR>FOR MORE DETAILS SEE ONLINE URL</font></td>
