As a member of the Call Center Team, this individual will coordinate technical activities of the department?s clinical laboratory referral testing service for non-UWMC clients. He/she will work with community clients, as well as with the department?s laboratory staff, residents and faculty to ensure quality laboratory services are delivered to the department?s outside clients. <BR><BR>Additionally, this individual will spend approximately twenty five percent of the time dedicated to clinical lab processing responsibilities, including: sorting and prioritizing of specimens, matching specimens against requisitions, data entry of client and specimen information into the laboratory medicine system, centrifuging and aliquoting and delivering specimens. Train and support new client services staff for Community Services. Functions as dispatch for courier service, provides input for changes or expansion of existing routes. Maintains inventory supply, monitors lab reports and prepares supplies/reports for delivery to clients.
