Responsibilities * Assist in the identification of compliance issues and potential solutions * Assist in the planning, execution and compilation of annual PCI DSS and PTS assessments * Assist in the development and ongoing maintenance of security/compliance policies, standards, procedures and documents * Participate in PCI and other Technology related meetings * Liaison between IT and Internal Audit; assist in the tracking of IT related remediation efforts * Coordinate efforts for internal and external audits * Monitor and summarize progress of compliance projects for management * Assist in the coordination and communications for penetration testing activities * Collaborate with business and IT to enable business objectives, while ensuring strong security/compliance controls and best practices * Assist to drive security/compliance related work efforts, coordination with business and IT Qualifications * Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) in a Windows environment with an intermediate level of proficiency in word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel), Visio and SharePoint * Strong Project Management and organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines * Ability to use critical thinking skills to proactively assess a project or process * Ability to be flexible and deal with changing priorities * Ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing * Ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, management, vendors and regulatory agencies * Ability to work well on a collaborative team and infuse others without direct authority * Detailed oriented and ability to focus on granular level compliance and security issues * Strong internal customer orientation, ability to empathize and build rapport * Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment Since 1901, Nordstrom has offered a wide variety of quality apparel, shoes and accessories for men, women and children at our stores across the country.
