Independently prepares commercial lending packages for commercial loans, including analytical analysis documents and supporting materials. Provides assistance to Commercial Loan Officers or Credit Analyst II as requested. <BR>NATURE AND SCOPE: The primary goal of this position is to support the Loan Officer in credit analysis of commercial loans and loan documentation. <BR>* Develops financial and credit information for use by loan officers or underwriting in the making of lending decisions.<BR>* Performs credit investigation and analysis.<BR>* Establishes and maintains financial files.<BR>* Follows existing credit relationships to ensure compliance with loan conditions and policy.<BR>* Performs other duties, as assigned.<BR>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. <BR>1.  Financial Spreads and Credit Request Presentation.<BR>* Performs financial analysis of borrowers and guarantors. Assist in the preparation of more complex loan packages.<BR>* Understands individual sources and analysis of personal cash flow.<BR>* Analyzes business financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and fundamental understanding of cash flow statements.<BR>* Completes simpler credit request write-ups and loan renewals to conform to loan policy requirements and information needs of the loan officer and underwriter.<BR>2.  Establishes Credit Files<BR>* Properly documents and processes complex and simpler loans in a timely and accurate manner according to loan type.<BR>* Ensures that follow-up customer information is obtained in a timely manner.<BR>* Establishes signing authority for various lending relationships.<BR>3.  Performs oversight to ensure file completeness and conditions are met on approved credit requests.<BR>* Ensures existing credit relationships adhere to loan conditions and covenants and that all required customer information is obtained in a timely manner. Notifies Loan Officer and Region Manager of any covenant violations.<BR>* Reviews maturing loan report and coordinates with Loan Officer in the notification of the customer for credit renewals.<BR>* Prepares and mails renewal notification letters to customers as requested by the Loan Officer asking for updated credit information and financial statements as necessary.<BR>* Ensures that financial information is complete and signed per loan policy requirements and follow up with loan officer and/or customer for missing or incomplete information.<BR>* Evaluates existing loans for changes in risk and make recommendations to Loan Officer for any risk rating changes.<BR>4.  Performs other duties, as assigned<BR>* Works and coordinates with other credit analysts and loan officers on projects assigned by Management. <BR>Requires Bachelor''s Degree (Finance, Accounting or Economics degree preferred) or equivalent experience and two years experience in credit analysis and loan documentation and processin                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        </font></td>
