               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:<BR>Job Summary and Mission<BR>This job contributes to Starbucks success by monitoring, investigating and auditing company systems and data for potential loss. Uncovers forensic leads that require further investigation, as well as takes a proactive role in suggesting control improvements to company programs to mitigate future risk. Assists in loss prevention efforts of the Global Safety and Security team. We are looking with experience in responding to and addressing online fraudulent activity as it occurs live and/or experience with online filtering software applications.<BR><BR>Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles. <BR><BR>Summary of Key Responsibilities<BR>Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:<BR> * Performs forensic loss analysis using P&AP tools including exception based reporting systems, networked CCTV, other company systems and programs that are utilized to perform the data analyst function. This includes but is not limited to: point of sale systems (POS), cash management and other systems<BR> * Responsible for initiating quality investigative leads per year based on identification of potential loss issues requiring action<BR> * Assists in development of specialized reporting and queries to identify partner theft, external fraud and process improvement opportunities, continuously refining parameters as the needs of the business evolve<BR> * Participates in discussions with key internal partners to determine best value-added use of enhancements to provide the most effective and efficient tools to varying business units<BR> * Provides ongoing investigative support to varying business units across the globe and serving as an analytical subject matter expert, able to provide advice and guidance during the course of an investigation<BR> * Continuously assists P&AP management in implementing proactive controls to mitigate risks in company programs and communicates them through the organization<BR><BR>REQUIRED SKILLS:<BR>Summary of Experience<BR> * Experience with data analysis of data base systems - 3 years<BR> * Experience in data mining and/or utilizing key performance indicator reports to drive business behaviors <BR> * Loss prevention experience, including theft recognition, shrinkage prevention and case development and documentation in a retail environment<BR><BR>Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities<BR> * Ability to manage and maintain confidential and sensitive information effectively<BR> * Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing<BR> * Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel<BR> * Knowledge of investigative policies and practices for POS systems<BR> * Basic statistical knowledge</font></td>
