Works in coordination with the RN who provides dialysis treatment. Performs apheresis procedures, monitoring machine activity. Participates in many quality assurance activities to provide for patient safety and compliance regulations. Shares call schedule with other department personnel.<BR>Requirements:<BR>An Associates Degree with emphasis in chemistry, biology, or medical sciences, experience as a Dialysis Pheresis Technician OR equivalent education/experience, preferred.<BR>Desired:<BR><BR>* Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis and Plasma pheresis experience<BR><BR>* Excellent customer service skills<BR>Condition of Employment:<BR>This is a temporary/hourly position, providing coverage for extended leave / vacations.
