When you join Nordstrom, you are welcomed into a family dedicated to creating memorable and rewarding shopping experiences for our customers.<BR><BR>The ideal director of corporate financial planning and analysis is motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service every day.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>* Administer the company-wide budget, forecast, long term plan and guidance processes<BR>* Oversee the development of period analysis for total company performance vs. forecast, budget and/or prior year(s)<BR>* Partner with management and others to anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plans, to include working in partnership with the business units and corporate centers to identify and realize revenue enhancement and expense savings opportunities<BR>* Oversee the capital planning and approval process<BR>* Provide guidance and assist in the creation of the Quarterly/Annual Board and Leadership presentation materials<BR>* Evaluate and assist with planned systems implementations or enhancements as they relate to planning processes<BR>* Stay current on industry practices and issues, assessing and communicating their potential impact on the business<BR>* Ensure alignment on priorities and direction by partnering with other groups and leaders<BR>Qualifications:<BR>* Bachelor''s degree in related field or equivalent experience<BR>* Minimum 8 years experience in management and leadership roles with progressively larger responsibility<BR>* Minimum 5 years management experience in finance<BR>* Demonstrated understanding of retail and the service environment of Nordstrom<BR>* Ability to build strong relationships with peers and senior leadership<BR>* Strong strategic planning abilities and critical thinking skills<BR>* Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills<BR>Since 1901, Nordstrom has offered a wide variety of quality apparel, shoes and accessories for men, women and children at our stores across the country.
