DIRECTOR OF MEDICARE SALES
Seattle, WA or Tacoma, WA; Portland, OR


Bring your sales leadership to this strategic role in which you will:

  • Direct all prospect and sales activities for Medicare products
  • Develop and implement the strategies and policies relating to Medicare sales and service



Skills and abilities needed for success:
  • 7-10 years of experience with individual, Medicare health sales, customer service or Medicare related field and 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Competency in generating new business leads through various channels including inside sales, in-home visits, seminars, partnering with community stakeholders (providers, pharmacists or senior agencies) and agents, while also following up and tracking promotional campaigns and activities
  • Competency in understanding local and regional Medicare market financing and pricing trends
  • Understand the financial impact of Medicare product changes and ability to effectively explain the impact and associated premium changes to customers
  • Proven competency in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategic plans including customer segmentation, sales process design, sales role definition, coverage models, sales organization design, goal setting, performance management and sales incentive programs
  • Develop and deliver clear and concise presentations and workshops for producers and groups
  • Proven competency in developing processes to organize departmental activities to ensure high quality results through efficient use of resources
  • Analyze costs and benefits of various solutions which support business strategies and objectives
  • Proven listening and reasoning skills, ability to work in a team environment and ability to communicate sensitive and/or confidential information to supervisors, co-workers, customers, and other external audiences
  • A degree in Healthcare Administration, Marketing or a related field preferred; Master's Degree preferred
