They value diversity, are inclusive and are committed to a global mindset.<BR><BR><BR>Position Summary<BR><BR>The Director of Product Management (DPM) is responsible for driving the strategic direction for a core BIG-IP Traffic Management and products. The DPM will have management responsibilities for a team of Product Management and Marketing professionals, but are ultimate responsibility for delivery and success of the products in their portfolio. DPMs must help to formulate individual product plans into an integrated cross product strategy that includes product release and roadmap planning as well as outbound product positioning and marketing plans. They must show a demonstrated success of creating and managing successful product portfolios including the creation of creating business cases, MRDs, PRDs, and the associated go-to-market planning.<BR><BR><BR>At F5, DPMs are expected to be skilled at functioning and leading a matrix organization, creating a collaborative team that executes product strategy. The DPMs seek to manage the profit and loss of products in the portfolio and help to guide individual product managers and teams to ensure products are differentiated, profitable, and industry leading. DPMs must also be effective at leading other organizations across the company, including formulating the strategies and running projects that cross the broader F5 team. This DPM must be an effective leader and communicator across marketing, business development, product development, sales and finance.<BR><BR><BR>The Director of Product Management must have a strong grasp of their market dynamics, the competition, and customer needs. As the spokesperson for product portfolio, the DPM must have proven leadership, negotiation and presentations skills capable of communicating with at the executive level with customers and with key industry analyst and press.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR><BR><BR>* Create, drive, and communicate product line strategy and roadmaps for F5?s core traffic management and acceleration solutions. This includes working effectively with all teams internal and external.<BR><BR>* Lead direct reports to successfully execute product line/program strategy, Establish measurable goals and objectives that meet strategic goals while facilitating career growth and skill development<BR><BR>* Serve as credible, engaging global F5 spokesperson to effectively influence all key constituents (including customers, partners, press, and analysts) and to establish F5 as a leader in the marketplace.<BR><BR>* Collaborate with other product owners to define and deliver solutions that improve customer value and help F5 achieve company goals                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 </font></td>
