Marchex is a leading mobile and online advertising company that drives millions of consumers to connect with businesses over the phone, delivers the most quality phone calls in the industry, and provides in-depth analysis of those phone calls.<BR>About the Role<BR>Responsible for managing and maintaining the Marchex-owned domain portfolio and providing related internal and external support for the domain inventory management department.<BR>Responsibilities<BR>* Manage our domain portfolio in accordance with our inventory management best practices<BR>* Work directly with domain registrars, assisting with domain transfers, renews and related registrar tasks<BR>* Provide various domain reports related to customer leads, sales, traffic, inventory<BR>* Reconcile the domain inventory count and update domain status, categories,<BR>* Analyze traffic, revenue, and other domain variables for appraisals<BR>* Assist with the implementation of new strategies<BR>* Assist customers with domain related requests<BR>* Work with other internal groups to secure and register new domains for division initiatives<BR>* Work with management on special domain inventory related projects.<BR>* Assist in various company initiatives and projects as requested<BR>Required Skills<BR>* Strong experience with MS Office including advanced working knowledge of Excel required.<BR>* Excellent verbal and written communication skills<BR>* Successful negotiation and relationship management skills needed.<BR>* Ability to work as a team or independently and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with outside agencies and vendors is a must.<BR>* General knowledge of domains and the domain space<BR>* Strong analytical and reporting skills required.<BR>Nice-to-have Skills<BR>* Degree in Business, Marketing or Finance preferred.<BR>* SQL; proficient in joins and knowledge of RDBMS concepts required.<BR>* One to two years of related experience preferred.<BR>* Experience negotiating, selling products, services directly to customers<BR>About Search Solutions<BR>In addition to our mobile and call-focused advertising technology, Marchex&rsquo;s business includes online performance advertising products. The Search Solutions team is responsible for the majority of our online products. Focus areas are: (1) Pay-per-Click Advertising and (2) Directories and Domains. The Pay-per-Click group serves large enterprises and small businesses with pay-per-click ads delivered across hundreds of premium publishers, such as INC magazine, Reuters and BankRate. The Directories and Domains team operates two online business directories, yellow.com and areaconnect.com.
