Our staff not only enjoys outstanding benefits and professional growth opportunities, but also an environment noted for diversity, community involvement, intellectual excitement, artistic pursuits, and natural beauty.<BR><BR>UW Information Technology (UW-IT) has an outstanding opportunity for an Enterprise Developer/ Security Advisor.<BR><BR>Responsibilities:<BR>The Enterprise Developer/ Security Advisor will play several critical roles in the Office of the CISO?s mission of creating a culture of security and privacy. <BR><BR>As a security advisor/ advocate the incumbent will work with other members of the Office of the CISO to create and support a community of UW developers, and other individuals, that understand and promote culture of security and privacy. The position will be responsible for creating, supporting, and advocating for risk based practices that recognize the diversity and breadth of the University of Washington.<BR><BR>As an enterprise developer this position will be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise level infrastructure and tools to support transparency, facilitate collaboration, and inform decision making around data, security, privacy, and risk. This position will create and maintain data import scripts and a graph based database store.<BR><BR>The position works under the direction of the Associate Chief Information Security Officer and in collaboration with the Assistant Director for Security Services.  <BR><BR>RELEVANT TECHNOLOGIES<BR>This position is expected to demonstrate extensive and comprehensive knowledge and experience with:<BR><BR><BR>* Resource Oriented Architecture, building and maintaining sustainable RESTful web services<BR><BR>* Integration experience (SOAP, LDAP, REST, OAuth)<BR><BR>* Database technologies (RDBMSs, Graph DBs)<BR><BR>* Test Driven Development practices<BR><BR>* Message bus architectures<BR><BR>* Release management<BR><BR>* Secure coding practices (OWASP top 10, etc.)<BR><BR>* Unix, Mac, and Windows Operating system<BR><BR>* XML, XHTML, JSON<BR><BR>* SQL, Cypher, Gremlin<BR><BR>* Java, JavaScript, Perl, Ruby<BR><BR>* Data source integration<BR><BR>* Development of best practice sets<BR><BR>Requirements:<BR>Minimum education:<BR>-Bachelor?s Degree in computer science, information management or related field; or equivalent experience<BR><BR>Minimum work experience:<BR>-Four years of relevant experience and progressive re                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           </font></td>
