At Matthews International we are currently expanding and interviewing for a Field Service Technician to provide legendary service to our customers throughout Seattle and the surrounding areas. To qualify you must possess demonstrated work experience in the construction field to include but not limited to: Brick Laying, Concrete finishing, Electrical, Welding, Plumbing skills. Solid computer skills are a plus. The position will require traveling throughout the state and possibly the surrounding states including overnight travel. The main duties of the job are to service, repair, troubleshoot, or any other tasks required to complete any field job involving IEE units; to assist and help others in the fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing of the cremation equipment, accessory equipment, and components; learn and comprehend the manufacturing, production and service & repair process. To qualify you must also possess the following requirements: • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Demonstrated work experience is the construction field • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Physical ability to routinely lift 55 pounds • Physical ability to frequently kneel, stand, walk and crawl in tight spaces • Physical ability to work in spaces and areas which will not be heated or cooled. • A positive attitude and optimistic personality • The ability to interface with clients and provide a high level of customer service Matthews offers a competitive wage and a full range of benefits including group health insurance, dental and vision, and supplemental insurance plans, 401k retirement benefits, paid vacation and holidays.
