This position will partner with the business leadership to set and review both short and long term business and financial goals, evaluate new business opportunities and drive business initiatives. Additional responsibilities include business and financial forecasting, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, and ad hoc business analysis support.<BR><BR>Responsibilities include:<BR>? Create, improve, and maintain financial models to forecast and report on the US Text Book businesses.<BR>? Create, improve, automate and maintain financial reports and business scorecards.<BR>? Communicate financial and business results including variance analyses to senior business leaders.<BR>? Complete cost / benefit analyses and communicate key drivers / inputs to support business decisions.<BR><BR>The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a customer focus, the ability to communicate with and influence business leadership, and a strong bias for action. A bachelor''s degree is required; an M.B.A. is preferred.<BR>Basic Qualifications<BR>? BA/BS degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field<BR>? 6+ years of relevant Finance experience<BR>? Advanced Excel skills<BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR>? MBA Preferred<BR>? ?Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable<BR>? Experience with Essbase, Cognos, Oracle Financials or similar tools<BR>? Must be comfortable working in cross-functional teams<BR>? Demonstrated strong leadership<BR>? Excellent communication and persuasion skills<BR>? Attention to detail<BR>? Track record of dealing with ambiguity<BR>?
