               <td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Financial Analyst<BR>Location: Washington - Seattle<BR>Job Code: 2914<BR>FLSA Status: Exempt<BR>Employment Duration: Full Time<BR><BR><BR>Description<BR><BR>Responsible for accounting and financial reporting support related to the servicing of a portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate loans. Position requires a full working knowledge of HomeStreet&rsquo;s general ledger and entity structure. Ability to produce reports in a publishable format is required. Must be knowledgeable in systems and understand the flow of data from servicing systems to the GL System and the Department&rsquo;s P&L Statement and Balance Sheet. <BR>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<BR>Responsible for accounting and financial reporting related to the servicing of a portfolio of multifamily and commercial real estate loans which requires a full working knowledge of HomeStreet&rsquo;s general ledger and entity structure along with the ability to evaluate and analyze data and trends: <BR>Compile data and trends leveraging servicing system technology and prepare reports as needed including, but not limited to:<BR>* Past Due Payment Reports<BR>* Delinquency and Maturing Loans Report<BR>* OREO Report<BR>* Daily, weekly and monthly systems reports<BR>* Monthly department operations report for the Board<BR>* Loan related expenses paid through department<BR>Annual:<BR>* DUS Portfolio Report<BR>* Annual Portfolio Report<BR>* Annual reporting to Fannie Mae<BR>Maintain and review of loan activity as it affects the general ledger. This includes, but not limited to:<BR>* Reconciliation of loan ledgers established for funds held on behalf of borrower. <BR>* Posting loan origination fees in accordance with GAAP accounting for loans boarded on Synergy servicing system<BR>* Monitor ticklers and provide reports to loan officers, loan closers and others as required. Conduct OFAC and Loans to One Borrower (LTOB) searches. <BR>* Transfer funds to/from operating accounts through preparing and submitting bank transfers<BR>* Collect and spread annual financial information required by loan documents. <BR>Submit accurate and timely investor remittance and reporting fulfilling all investor requirements. Reconciliation of investor custodial and clearing accounts for appropriate documentation and resolution of differences. <BR>Identify, research and resolve issues within scope of authority and expertise. Work to ensure timely and accurate loan servicing and accounting practices. Provide direction when faced with new accounting issue or procedural problems. <BR>Continually increase utilization and efficiency of existing servicing systems. Must be knowledgeable in systems and understand the flow of data from servicing systems to the GL System and the Department&rsquo;s P&L Statement and Balance Sheet. <BR>Assist with coordination of audits, both internal and external, and any regulatory examinations.<BR>Coordinate accounts payable for loan related expenses.
