The individual will also be charged with preparing and analyzing the monthly budget to actual analysis, the monthly metrics analysis, variable cost productivity tracking, and cost out initiatives for Finance Operations Payroll.<BR><BR>This position will team with Amazon Finance Operations, Payroll site leaders, and Accounts Payable to identify cost savings objectives.<BR>This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual with an aptitude for process improvement, who can assist in the strategic allocation of resources around the globe. This person will also be expected to take ownership and drive positive change including evaluating and streamlining existing operational processes, controls and metrics.<BR><BR>Responsibilities include:<BR><BR>* Driving annual budgeting and variable cost productivity processes<BR>* Working closely with the accounting and finance teams to evaluate monthly results and budget to actual variances<BR>* Developing, modifying and maintaining the operational and design effectiveness of internal controls<BR>* Coordinating with the Payroll teams in Europe, Japan, China, India and other locations to ensure strong communication, reporting, and best practices are identified, implemented and followed<BR>* Analyzing the net present value cost impact of competing pricing structures.<BR>Basic Qualifications<BR><BR>* Bachelor''s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field<BR>* 3+ years of experience in business, accounting, logistics, consulting or similar field<BR>Preferred Qualifications<BR><BR>* Proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion<BR>* Strong analytical skills<BR>* Independent and entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction<BR>* Strong attention to detail<BR>* Ability to make decisions based on data analysis<BR>* Can successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously<BR>* Track record of dealing with ambiguity<BR>* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage escalations of complex problems<BR>Amazon is an equal opportunity employer<BR>*LI-AJD </font></td>
