We connect millions of consumers with businesses over the phone, deliver the most quality phone calls in the industry, and provide in-depth analysis of those phone calls.<BR><BR>About the Role<BR><BR>The Business and Financial Analyst, Resource Management will be responsible for analyzing major financial purchases and evaluating vendor resource initiatives at Marchex.<BR>The role is a critical component of the newly formed Resource Management group.<BR><BR>Responsibilities<BR><BR>* Work with business teams to identify resource improvement opportunities and business drivers and evaluate potential resource providers.<BR>* Benchmark costs incurred for comparable companies.<BR>* Perform sensitivity analyses to understand the impacts of alternative assumptions on costs.<BR>* Create reporting dashboards to summarize complex cost information into digestible and actionable metrics.<BR>* Initiate and manage requests for proposal for providers of significant products and services to Marchex.<BR>* Evaluate, analyze, and develop plans to realize efficiencies within the organization.<BR>* Develop consensus between cross-functional teams as well as influence decision making within senior-level audiences.<BR>* Support the vision and values of the company and the team through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors.<BR>* Assist in various team initiatives and projects as requested.<BR>Required Skills <BR>* Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.<BR>* 3-5 years of experience in business/financial analyst role.<BR>* Knowledge of best practices in procurement.<BR>* Strong database capabilities including SQL.<BR>* Expert in Excel and PowerPoint.<BR>* Basic understanding of accrual accounting.<BR>* Collaborative and persuasive temperament.<BR>* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.<BR>* Ability to communicate effectively with technology, operations, and product management teams.<BR>* Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.<BR>* Creative and strategic thinking.<BR>* Proven ability to work as part of a team or independently.<BR>* Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.<BR><BR>Nice-to-have Skills<BR>* Experience in digital advertising and related advertising models. </font></td>
