Gates Sr., under the direction of Bill and Melinda Gates and Warren Buffett.<BR>Group Summary The Finance and Strategy group is responsible for implementing and maintaining operating procedures designed to ensure rigorous stewardship of the foundation''s financial resources. We oversee the business processes that govern the foundation&rsquo;s basic grantmaking and risk management; evaluate and improve the impact of the foundation''s grantmaking; and produce accurate and transparent financial analyses and reports. We also coordinate public-private partnerships across the different grantmaking areas to optimize effectiveness and share best practices, and we drive a number of special initiatives related to planning for substantial increases in long-term payout and overall growth.<BR>Responsibilities <BR>The Financial Manager, US Program position will assist in developing, communicating, and monitoring the financial and operational results for the foundation&rsquo;s US Program. Work efforts will include supporting the preparation and analysis of business plans, financial statements, models, and tools to support organizational goals. The Financial Manager will work closely with the US Program team on a wide range of financial, operational, and capital issues, and will serve a critical role in developing and tracking projects, including the submission and presentation of these analyses to FP&A leadership, CIO and US Program Leadership and Management Teams.<BR>Specific Responsibilities<BR>&bull; Provide operational and financial leadership for the development and execution of annual PST budgets and financial plans. Create financial planning tools and partner with PSTs to accurately forecast grant and contract spending.<BR>&bull; Identify operational and financial risks of executing against annual budgets and propose mitigating strategies to the PST leadership.<BR>&bull; Provide leadership with strategic and financial advice to support effective financial resource allocation and decision-making.<BR>&bull; Perform economic and financial analysis to support strategy reviews; provide strategic advice to PST leadership to identify investment-making areas; and support decision making on resource allocation during strategy refreshes, reviews and execution planning.<BR>&bull; Perform financial and risk analysis to suppor                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           </font></td>
