Join us, and find out how many ways Virginia Mason offers you the chance to focus on what really matters-our patients.<BR><BR>This position provides high level disinfection and sterilization services of equipment and accessories to assist the healthcare team in the performance of Endoscopic procedures. This position also provides patient support while assisting physicians with Flexible Sigmoidoscopies, colonoscopies, and upper endoscopies.<BR><BR>1. Cleans and maintains all equipment in the department.<BR><BR>2. Sets up procedure rooms with all necessary equipment.<BR><BR>3. Assists MD and RN with intra-procedure manuevers as necessary.<BR><BR>4. Orders and stocks equipment and supplies; distributes linen in the department.<BR><BR>5. May performs phone triage, scheduling, paperwork, and staffs the reception desk as needed.<BR><BR>6. May make pre-procedure phone calls to patients and document electronically.<BR><BR>This position requires a high school diploma and completion of an accredited medical assistant course and one year experience, or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Requires moderate physical strength in moving, adjusting equipment, and assisting patients. Requires good auditory and visual acuity and good manual dexterity. Requires a mature attitude and ability to maintain good rapport with patients, families, physicians, and other medical center personnel.<BR><BR>Come join the quality health care leader in Seattle.
