<td align="left"><font style="font-size: 100%;">Responsible for reviewing patient documented reports in order to assign the appropriate ICD-9-CM/CPT codes to diagnoses and procedures for linkage with the physician practice and hospital billing systems, computerized indices, statistics, research, and various production reports and surveys; analyze patient records for deficiency; and perform charge entry and reconciliation.<BR>Requirements: <BR>Required Education/Experience:<BR>- High School Diploma or equivalent<BR>- Minimum of one (1) year prior coding experience.<BR>Required Credentials:<BR>- Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA); Certified Professional Coder-Hospital (CPC-H) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) to be obtained within 90 days of hire.<BR>Preferred: <BR>- Associates Degree or two years’college coursework in Medical/Health Records or related field<BR>- Previous coding experience in a pediatric practice environment<BR>- Previous specialty coding experience (Radiology, Emergency Dept).</font></td>
