This position manages the REO Home Lending Retail Sales Program participation and results within an assigned Retail Sales Channel area. The position reports to and is accountable to a Region REO Manager and/or the National ABA Manager for results. Responsible for managing information between the REO Servicing Default group and Loan Officers and their managers. Accountable for ensuring Loan Officers are equipped with subject matter expertise regarding bank-owned property and purchase lending. Responsible for identifying Loan Officer resources to manage the bank-owned property realtor and listing agent relationships with regard to individual properties and geographic areas. The REO/ABA Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and defining potential Joint Marketing and Desk Rental opportunities within their assigned sales area.<BR><BR><BR><BR>Major Functions (List the Principal Duties and Responsibilities, in Order of Importance)<BR><BR>Accountable to Region REO Manager and/or National ABA Manager for REO Program results and Affilitated Business Arrangement (ABA) business development.  Time Allocation 10%<BR><BR>Monitor & assess the performance & effectiveness of Loan Officers with regards to the REO program, recommend reassignments within the area, work with the Lending Mgr of participating Loan Officers to ensure smooth transitions between Loan Officers, assess skills training needs of incoming / newly assigned Loan Officers, and administer internal workshops on ABA and REO for Loan Officers and Lending Managers, and attend loan officer/listing agent face to face meetings within assigned sales area. Time Allocation 45%<BR><BR>Responsible for providing REO program origination training to Loan Officers. Time Allocation 5%<BR><BR>Manage Listing Agent assignments to Loan Officers. Time Allocation 10%<BR><BR>Accountable for evaluating & sharing the performance results of the REO program within the assigned sales area, and engaging Lending Managers, Region REO Manager, and ABA National Manager in activities necessary to ensure the success of REO and ABA programs in assigned sales territory.  Time Allocation 5%<BR><BR>Manage relationships between the Retail Sales area, the HL Servicing & Default Channel (who &quot;owns&quot; the Chase REO loans), and the Real Estate Listing Agent (Realtor selling our Chase REO Property). REO/ABA Specialist serves as the first level of escalation for resolution of any issues or concerns that may erupt between a Loan Officer/Lending Mgr, Servicing & Default, &/or a Listing Agent.  Time Allocation 10%<BR><BR>Serve as chief liaison to the sales area&#39;s lending management regarding REO/ABA Program changes, updates, policy & procedures.
